Heavy rainfall in the Söke district of Aydın brought along scenes of flooding. An olive tree located in the mountainous area of the Yenikent neighborhood was uprooted by the force of the floodwaters and dragged onto the asphalt road.
After the meteorology's warning of heavy rain and storm, heavy rain was effective in the Söke district until last night. With the heavy rain, the roads turned into lakes, and those who saw the olive tree being dragged to the middle of the road along with its roots could not believe their eyes.
THE TREE CAME FROM THE HILLY AREA TO THE CITY CENTER
Due to the heavy rain in Söke, the roots of an olive tree were uprooted in the hilly area of Yenikent Neighborhood. The tree was dragged to 63rd Street by the floodwaters.
THOSE WHO SAW IT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WERE ASTONISHED
The tree, which surprised onlookers as it obstructed traffic on the asphalt road, was intervened by the Söke Municipality teams. The tree was removed by the teams and placed in a suitable spot by the roadside.
