THEY HIRED A HITMAN TO KILL THE DOCTOR AND THE BUSINESSMAN
Teams from the Homicide Bureau of the Kocaeli Provincial Police Department's Public Order Branch obtained information that a doctor working in the Izmit district and a businessman would be killed through a hired hitman. The police, who initiated an investigation, placed the businessman and the doctor under protection. In the investigations, it was determined that I.G. had contacted S.A. and hitman G.M.K. to kill the doctor. Police teams also identified that father-son duo E.Ö. and K.Ö., along with a person named K.F.G., met with suspects S.A. and hitman G.M.K. to arrange the murder of a businessman. It was found that the suspects agreed on high amounts for both separate assassination attempts.
6 SUSPECTS WERE REFERRED TO THE COURT
Following technical and physical surveillance by the police, a simultaneous operation was conducted in Kocaeli and Bursa. In the operation, S.A., G.M.K., I.G., E.Ö., K.Ö., and K.F.G. were detained. During the searches conducted at the suspects' addresses, firearms obtained by the hitman, checks, and a large number of bullets were seized. The 6 suspects, whose procedures were completed at the Kocaeli Provincial Police Department, were referred to the court.
