In the Ekinözü district of Kahramanmaraş, Ahmet Altuğ, who came to reconcile with his wife during their divorce proceedings, was shot by Specialist Sergeant Cuma Yetişgen. Yetişgen subsequently committed suicide. Both individuals died in the hospital.
Specialist sergeant Cuma Ambar shot his brother-in-law who was arguing with his aunt with his service weapon. The adult then committed suicide by putting the gun to his head.
HE FIRED MULTIPLE TIMES AT HIS BROTHER-IN-LAW
According to the allegations, 39-year-old Ahmet Altuğ came to his wife's family home in Öztürk Neighborhood at night to reconcile, as they were in the process of divorce. However, the verbal argument that started here quickly turned into a fight. Cuma Ambar, a 23-year-old specialist sergeant who was present in the house at the time, drew his gun from his waistband out of concern that his aunt might be harmed. Allegedly, Ambar fired multiple times at his brother-in-law Altuğ, who was the focus of the argument. As Altuğ fell to the ground severely injured, the young specialist sergeant also committed suicide with the same weapon.
BOTH DIED IN THE HOSPITAL
Upon the notification of the surrounding people, the 112 Emergency Health teams that arrived at the scene transported the two severely injured individuals to the hospital. However, despite all interventions, both individuals could not be saved.
The bodies of the deceased were sent to the forensic medicine institution for autopsy.
