A young woman who insulted guards and police on social media by saying "You can't catch me" was detained in a very short time and was referred to the Samsun Courthouse as part of an investigation initiated under Article 301 of the Turkish Penal Code. The 24-year-old woman, taken to the courthouse, tried to hide by covering her face from the cameras that wanted to record her.
A 24-year-old woman, who challenged the police and guards on social media in Samsun by saying "You can't catch me," was captured and sent to the courthouse. She has a confirmed prison sentence of 5 months for the crime of "threat" and is reported to have 19 separate criminal records.
CAUGHT IN A SHORT TIME
As part of the efforts carried out by the Atakum District Police Department, I.K. (24), who was wanted for a confirmed 5-month prison sentence for "threat" and has 19 criminal records, was caught on Sunday, January 25, around 11:30 AM.
"YOU'RE LOOKING FOR ME, BUT YOU WON'T FIND ME"
It was determined that the young woman made insulting and abusive posts to the police and guards on a social media account named X before her capture, saying, "You're looking for me, but you won't find me."
SENT TO THE COURTHOUSE
During the capture, the suspect also used insulting words towards the personnel on duty, and an investigation was initiated under the instruction of the Public Prosecutor's Office for "insulting a public officer" and Article 301 of the Turkish Penal Code. I.K., who was taken into custody, was sent to the Samsun Courthouse today.
