THE DISPUTE TURNED INTO A FIGHT
According to a special report by Ekran Haber; on February 2 in the Yenimahalle district of Ankara, police officer M.O.K. took his vehicle to the TÜVTÜRK station for a routine inspection. The officials stated that the brake light was not working and did not pass the vehicle for inspection.
STATION EMPLOYEES ASSAULTED THE POLICE OFFICER
A dispute arose between M.O.K. and the station employees in response to the decision. The argument quickly escalated into a fight involving insults and threats. According to allegations, the employees assaulted police officer M.O.K. Health teams that arrived at the scene took the severely injured M.O.K. to the hospital.
HE STAYED IN INTENSIVE CARE FOR 3 DAYS
M.O.K., who was treated in the intensive care unit of Gazi Hospital, passed away after a three-day struggle for life. Following the incident, Y.K. and S.A. were taken into custody on February 3 for the crimes of "Intentional Injury," "Threat," and "Insult."
1 SUSPECT ARRESTED
As part of the investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the suspects were referred to the courthouse. The duty magistrate released Y.K. under judicial control, while it was decided to arrest S.A.
