In an operation supported by MIT in Istanbul, 14 individuals sought via Interpol's red notice and diffusion messages were captured. The suspects, wanted for murder, theft, fraud, and illegal organization activities, were detained in a simultaneous operation conducted by the Istanbul Police Department teams.
In the operation organized by the Istanbul Provincial Police Department with the support of the National Intelligence Organization (MIT), 14 suspects sought via Interpol's red notice and diffusion message were taken into custody.
MIT AND POLICE WORKED TOGETHER
Teams from the Istanbul Provincial Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Border Gates Branch Directorate, in coordination with the Intelligence Branch Directorate and MIT, launched an effort to capture the suspects who had outstanding warrants.
MURDER AND FRAUD CHARGES
As a result of technical and physical surveillance, the addresses of 14 individuals sought internationally for various crimes including murder, theft, fraud, and illegal organization activities were identified. It was stated that the suspects were sought via Interpol's red notice and diffusion message as part of extradition procedures to relevant countries.
SIMULTANEOUS OPERATION CARRIED OUT
Following the efforts, teams conducted a simultaneous operation at the identified addresses, taking 14 suspects into custody. The suspects were taken to the police station for processing.
