Bad news has come from FIFA for Eyüpspor, who are in last place in the Trendyol Süper Lig. The Istanbul club has been handed a 3-period transfer ban. Due to the decision taking effect as of October 15, 2026, Eyüpspor will not be able to register new players it adds to its squad as long as the sanction continues.
Eyüpspor, who could not get the results it wanted in the Trendyol Süper Lig this season, has now been faced with a transfer ban. The Istanbul team's name was also added to FIFA's published transfer registration ban list.

In FIFA records, the start date of the sanction applied to Eyüpspor was shown as October 15, 2026.
Due to the ban covering 3 transfer periods, the club will not be able to carry out the licensing and registration procedures for new players unless the sanction is lifted.
