The Presidential decision regarding the employment of 31,054 contracted healthcare personnel in 2027 was published in the Official Gazette. Of the personnel to be assigned to regions where recruiting staff is difficult, 25,955 will be specialist physicians and 5,061 will be physicians. The majority of the employment will be in inpatient treatment services.
The Presidential decision regarding the determination of service units within the scope of contracted health personnel employment was published in the Official Gazette.
31,054 HEALTH PERSONNEL WILL BE EMPLOYED
In the decision published with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, it was stated that it was decided to determine the service units where contracted health personnel will be employed, to be implemented in 2027, in order to ensure that health services can be carried out effectively and efficiently in places and service branches experiencing difficulty in obtaining personnel.
In accordance with the decision, 1 person will be employed in emergency health services, 7 in district health directorates and community health centers, 6 in health houses, and 31,040 people in inpatient treatment.
Of the said persons, 5,061 will be physicians and 25,955 will be specialist physicians. In addition, 25 health officers, 9 midwives, 2 nurses, as well as one dietitian and one health technician each will be recruited.
