The Capital Markets Board (SPK) decided to file criminal complaints against a total of 37 people due to transactions carried out in Vişne Madencilik and Işıklar Enerji shares. In two separate files, while a 2-year trading ban was imposed on many individuals and companies, it was decided that the capital markets licenses of 21 people would also be revoked for the duration of the ban. The Board also announced its decisions regarding the liquidation of Hedef Portföy funds and the capital increases of companies.

In the Capital Markets Board's (CMB) weekly bulletin, decisions regarding sanctions for transactions carried out in capital markets, as well as investment funds and companies' financing applications, were published. The most striking part of the bulletin was the criminal complaints and trading bans imposed due to transactions in the equity market of two companies.

The Board, evaluating the transactions carried out in the shares of Vişne Madencilik Üretim Sanayi ve Ticaret AŞ (VSNMD), decided to file a criminal complaint against 22 people within the scope of Article 107/1 of the Capital Markets Law.

The restriction on Tera Yatırım and Tera Portföy, however, will cover only the transactions they carry out in VSNMD shares in their own name and accounts.

SANCTIONS ALSO FOR IŞIKLAR ENERJİ TRANSACTIONS

The periods spent by Nusret Altınbaş, Mücahit Acaralp and Çetin Genç, who were previously subject to a temporary trading ban, within this scope will be deducted from the newly determined two-year ban.

LICENSES OF 21 PEOPLE REVOKED FOR THE DURATION OF THE BAN

The capital markets licenses held by 21 of the people who were subject to trading bans in two separate cases were also revoked for as long as the ban continues.

The funds were removed from the scope of the decision dated September 30 and numbered 64/1775, and it was decided to initiate liquidation proceedings. In the process, the principles set for A1 Capital Portföy, Bulls Portföy and Pardus Portföy funds will be applied.
