In a statement at the ceremony for the delivery of the 300,000th disaster housing unit in Malatya, President Erdoğan said, "We are providing homes for 2 out of every 3 eligible citizens. In Malatya, 43,408 eligible citizens are receiving the keys to their homes, and our target by the end of the year is 452,000 housing units."

Today, we are handing over the key to our 300,000th house. Today, we also take pride in inaugurating our new investments. I hope that every citizen who is entitled can live in these homes with peace of mind. I thank each of my brothers who contributed to the construction of these houses, from the architect to the worker.

We are in the land of Battal Gazi. As always, I thank the people of Malatya who embrace us once again. Just as a lover is happy when reunited with their beloved, we are also happy. "THERE ARE 52,000 PEOPLE ON THE FIELD"

One of the provinces most affected by the earthquakes on February 6 was Malatya. We are burying 53,737 of our loved ones from 11 provinces in the ground with tears in our hearts. I once again pray for mercy from Allah for our earthquake martyrs. Today, there are 52,000 people on the field. I wish patience to those left behind from my Lord.

The pain of February 6 has become our concern. We felt this in the depths of our hearts. This concern taught us to start anew. We said we would work hand in hand with our nation to rebuild our cities. All institutions of our state worked 24/7. We cleared the rubble in a short time. We managed to revive hopes from scratch.

"WE ARE PROVIDING HOMES TO 2 OUT OF EVERY 3 ENTITLED CITIZENS"

You can see what has been done, what has been achieved, and the effort put forth. We are happy to keep the promises we made in the squares. In June, we had given the 250,000th house to our earthquake-affected brothers. The majority of the keys have been handed over to the rightful owners. Our work continues at full speed. Today, we are handing over the key to the 300,000th house in Malatya. We are once again disappointing the earthquake tourists who are waiting to see when the government will be under this rubble. We are providing homes to 2 out of every 3 entitled citizens.

"43,408 ENTITLED CITIZENS IN MALATYA ARE RECEIVING THE KEYS TO THEIR HOMES"

With today's ceremony, we are drawing lots for a total of 9,039 houses in provincial and district centers. Thus, 43,408 entitled citizens in Malatya are receiving the keys to their homes. Work continues in our other cities.

In this way, we are exceeding the 300,000 limit, providing over 304,000 homes and workplaces to our citizens, including 295,929 houses. God willing, we aim to complete 453,000 independent units by the end of the year. We will work until not a single citizen remains without a new home or workplace. Today, we are also inaugurating 41 new investments. With these investments, totaling 5 billion 940 million, we are giving a new face to our Malatya.

We are presenting these services and facilities that touch the lives of the people of Malatya to your service. I wish these works to be beneficial once again. I sincerely congratulate our ministries, our metropolitan municipality, and other institutions that contributed to these investments.

"THE CLOSURE OF NEIGHBORHOODS IS NOT AN OPTION"

In April, we experienced a frost event. It also harmed apricot production in Malatya. We made payments of 3.1 billion liras to those with agricultural insurance. We will make payments of 3.8 billion liras to our producers who do not have insurance. May it be beneficial.

Our agenda is only to serve the country. It is to provide you with safe homes. It is for Malatya and other provinces to receive the investments they deserve. It is to free us from the scourge of terrorism forever. We are working with patience, sincerity, and cool-headedness. As we approach our destination, the intensity of attacks has also begun to increase. On one hand, they are trying to disturb our martyrs and veterans with baseless news. The closure of neighborhoods is absolutely not an option.

"WAR AND TERROR BARONS WILL NOT ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS"
