The service units where contracted health personnel will be employed in 2027, to be assigned to units experiencing personnel problems, have been determined by a Presidential decision. In the list annexed to the decision, a total of 31,054 contracted health personnel were included, of whom 25,955 are specialist physicians and 5,061 are physicians.
The Presidential decision regarding the service units where contracted health personnel will be employed in 2027 at the Ministry of Health was published in the Official Gazette.
With the decision, in order to ensure that health services can be carried out effectively and efficiently in places and service branches where there is difficulty in obtaining personnel, the service units where contracted health personnel will be employed in 2027 were determined. The regulation was made in accordance with Article 1 of Law No. 4924.
25,955 SPECIALIST PHYSICIANS, 5,061 PHYSICIANS
In the list regarding the Ministry of Health annexed to the decision, a total of 31,054 contracted health personnel were included: 25,955 specialist physicians, 5,061 physicians, 25 health officers, 9 midwives, 2 nurses, 1 dietitian, and 1 health technician.
In the distribution by service units, 31,040 personnel were designated for inpatient treatment units, 7 for the district health directorate and community health center, 6 for the health house, and 1 for emergency health services.
All specialist physicians and physicians were included within the scope of inpatient treatment units. Additionally, 19 health officers, 2 midwives, 2 nurses, and 1 dietitian were envisaged for these units. Within the scope of the district health directorate and community health center, 6 health officers and 1 midwife were listed; in health houses, 6 midwives; and in emergency health services, 1 health technician.
The annexed list will be applicable in 2027, effective from January 1, 2027.
