After Olgun's death, his statements on the Haber Bahane program, hosted by Gökay Kalaycıoğlu on Haberler.com in October 2023, came to the fore again. The artist's words, especially about helplessness, death, and his desire to heal people, drew attention.
"SOMETIMES I HATE BEING AN INDIVIDUAL OF THIS SOCIETY"
Expressing his discomfort with violent incidents in society and people's attitudes toward one another, Olgun had especially reacted to the mistreatment of women, children, and animals.
Olgun said, "We are lacking in love. We are lacking in relationships. We still kill women. We still beat women. We still rape children. Look, I am speaking fast. Because as an individual of this society, all these are reasons that will make me resent the world. We still torture animals. We even kill them. We rape children, abduct them, persecute them. There are so many things to be resentful about. Sometimes I hate being an individual of this society."

The artist, describing that he sometimes felt helpless in the face of negative events, had said that he dreamed of having extraordinary powers to be able to help people.
Olgun said, "The helplessness of not being able to do anything. Believe me, this is the greatest suffering of many good people. There are many negative things and I cannot do anything to prevent them. And I cannot find any remedy. And I am left helpless. It is a very hurtful thing. It is something in which a person is hurt by himself. Then I want to be a super person anyway. Such a feeling passes through me. I would very much want to have superpowers anyway. Just for this reason. I wanted two super things in my life. One was to be a healer, the second was to be Superman," he had said.
"MANY PEOPLE DIE IN INCREDIBLE HELPLESSNESS"
He explained the reason behind his desire to be a healer with these words: "I would like to help every kind of person I can. In terms of health. I attach great importance to it. Because many people die in incredible helplessness. Or they are barely surviving. My dream is to be able to be a remedy for them"

Olgun, stating that he believed goodness strengthens people, also expressed that his outlook on life had changed over the years with the words: "Goodness is strengthening. Since I was 40, for about 15-20 years, I think I have become stronger. Because being bad is very easy. To be good, you have to endure quite a lot of difficulty. And living with difficulty gives a person strength. Pursuing goodness and beauty without any fear truly strengthens a person. Because you have many things to fight within your head or in daily life."
