In Altay, 44-year-old team captain Murat Uluç waived half of his receivables due to the financial difficulties faced by the club.

After being relegated to the TFF 3rd League, Altay, who could not prevent the young players from being released due to the warning for their receivables through the Football Federation, made a sacrifice by 44-year-old team captain Murat Uluç.

HE WAIVED HALF OF HIS RECEIVABLES

Murat Uluç, who returned to the green fields three years after retiring from football in 2022 due to the transfer ban of the club he came from, and is still the oldest scorer in professional leagues in Turkey, waived half of his receivables. The management made a statement regarding Murat Uluç, who was appointed as the head coach of Altay and grew up together in the youth team with Ramazan Kurşunlu, who is 2 months older. The statement included the following expressions:

"Our club's professional football player and veteran captain Murat Uluç met with our managers today at our facilities to discuss his receivables. As a result of the discussions, Murat Uluç has once again shown that he is always by the side of Büyük Altay even in its toughest days by waiving approximately half of his receivables. We extend our endless thanks to him for his great sacrifice and loyalty to our club. This loyalty to the Altay emblem will always hold a special place in the memory of our community."

ELECTRICITY CRISIS IS BEING OVERCOME

Due to a 150,000 TL electricity bill, the electricity of the Gaziemir Vali Kutlu Aktaş Facilities was cut off during the week at Altay, while the black-and-white management announced that the commercial enterprises in the common area of the facilities had not contributed to the electricity bill for 5 years and that the electricity connections of these enterprises had been cut off. While the management took steps for legal proceedings, it was announced that the problem was resolved as a result of discussions with the operators. In the management's statement, it was said, "The payment issue related to electricity usage has been resolved in accordance with the agreement of the parties, and in order to secure the payments to be made to our club in the future, meter systems will be installed in the relevant areas."
