With the decision published under the signature of President Erdogan, Yunus Arıncı, the President of the State Audit Board, was dismissed and Salih Tanrıkulu was appointed in his place. In addition, the Provincial Directors of National Education in Uşak, Düzce, Tunceli, and Şırnak were also dismissed and new names were appointed in their places.

The appointment decisions made by the Presidency were published in the Official Gazette. With the decision, Yunus Arıncı, the President of the State Audit Board (DDK), was dismissed. Salih Tanrıkulu was appointed in his place.

TANRIKULU APPOINTED TO THE PRESIDENCY

With the decision published with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Yunus Arıncı, the President of the State Audit Board, was dismissed in accordance with Articles 2, 3, and 4 of Presidential Decree No. 3 and Article 10 of Presidential Decree No. 5. Salih Tanrıkulu, a Member of the State Audit Board, was appointed to the vacant presidency.

DIRECTORS OF 4 PROVINCES' NATIONAL EDUCATION REMOVED FROM OFFICE

According to the decision, Bülent Şahin, the Director of Uşak Provincial National Education, Tamer Kırbaç, the Director of Düzce Provincial National Education, Gürsel Ekmekci, the Director of Tunceli Provincial National Education, and Nazan Şener, the Director of Şırnak Provincial National Education, were dismissed. Halil Yücel was appointed as the Director of Uşak Provincial National Education, Emrullah Aydın was appointed as the Director of Düzce Provincial National Education, Fethi Ateş was appointed as the Director of Tunceli Provincial National Education, and Osman Cebeci was appointed as the Director of Sinop Provincial National Education.

WHO IS THE NEW PRESIDENT OF THE STATE AUDIT BOARD, SALIH TANRIKULU?

Salih Tanrıkulu, born in Ankara in 1974, graduated from the Department of Public Administration at Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences in 1996, and then received a master's degree in Economics at the University of Illinois in the USA.

Tanrıkulu, who started his public service as an Assistant Expert at the Prime Ministry in 1997, served as Revenue Controller, Revenue Administration Group Manager, Tax Chief Inspector, and Deputy Chairman of the Tax Audit Board at the Ministry of Finance starting from 1998.

Within the scope of his professional activities, Tanrıkulu represented the country in OECD and EU Fiscalis working groups. He served as the Financial Advisor to the Permanent Representation of Turkey to the European Union (Brussels) and a member of the NATO Audit Board from 2013 to 2015.

Tanrıkulu, who was appointed as a Member of the State Audit Board in 2015, served as the Chairman of the Extraordinary Procedures Review Commission from 2017 to January 2023. Since November 2023, Salih Tanrıkulu has been serving as the Acting President of the State Audit Board and he speaks English and French. Tanrıkulu is married and has three children.
