In Diyarbakır, 60 capsules of methamphetamine were seized from the stomach of an Iranian national, while prohibited substances were also seized during operations in the Kayapınar and Bağlar districts.
During successful operations conducted by the teams of the Diyarbakır Provincial Police Department Anti-Narcotics Branch Directorate against drug dealers, a large quantity of illegal substances was seized.
MANY ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES SEIZED
Within the scope of efforts carried out across the city against street dealers and drug trafficking, an unusual situation was detected during a body search of an Iranian national stopped on suspicion. In medical checks conducted on the suspect, who was taken to the hospital, it was determined that 60 capsules of methamphetamine were hidden in his stomach. While the drugs removed through medical intervention were confiscated, the Iranian courier was taken into custody.

The operations of the anti-narcotics teams were not limited to this. In simultaneous operations carried out against pre-determined addresses and suspicious individuals in the Kayapınar and Bağlar districts, numerous illegal substances, precision scales, and cash money considered to have been obtained from drug trafficking were also seized.
While the procedures of the detained suspects at the police department continue, investigations into the incident are ongoing.
