9-year-old Çağrı Misli, a 3rd-grade student at Barbaros Primary School in Çanakkale, choked on a piece of food while eating at a restaurant in a shopping mall on May 19.

Misli, who collapsed in the shopping mall and received first aid, was transferred to ÇOMÜ Hospital by ambulance. Despite all the interventions by doctors, Misli passed away yesterday while being treated in intensive care. A funeral ceremony was held for the little student at Baklacı Mosque during the afternoon prayer time.
Misli's family and relatives could not hold back their tears during the funeral ceremony. The little boy was laid to rest in the city cemetery after the funeral prayer. The Provincial Director of National Education Mine Hayta, the child's teachers, friends, and relatives attended the funeral.
