A citizen living in İzmir purchased a brand new vehicle worth 2 million, which took in water during the first rain. The citizen, who took the car to the service center after water entered through the rearview mirror, stated that their issue has not been resolved for 22 days.
A citizen who stated that the brand new vehicle he purchased in İzmir leaked water from the roof during the first rain expressed his grievances, stating that he could not find a solution from the authorized service.
"MY CONCERN IS HOW MUCH WATER THE VEHICLE HAS TAKEN IN"
The affected driver, who expressed that he left his vehicle at the authorized service on October 23, reported that the service said the front windshield needed to be removed and that it could break during this process. The citizen pointed out that the problem was not just the glass, saying, "My concern is not the glass, but how much water the vehicle has taken in. Water has gone into the electronic parts right in front of my eyes. The cup holder is completely full and overflowing," explaining the risks he faced.
"I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT A VEHICLE FOR 22 DAYS"
Highlighting how much water the vehicle has taken in and the potential problems this situation could cause in the future, the citizen stated that he did not receive a clear solution from the service. The vehicle owner noted that the authorities constantly asked him for more time, saying, "22 days have passed, but there is still no solution. My vehicle is waiting at the service door, and I am left dependent on taxis, minibuses, or friends' cars."
The driver stated that the authorities asked for his approval for the replacement of the glass, but the main issue was being overlooked, emphasizing that despite paying for the vehicle's insurance and comprehensive coverage, his grievances continued. The citizen demanded that the problem he faced be resolved as soon as possible and that his vehicle be delivered in a condition that he can use safely.
