A 67-year-old man named Duran Aydın has been arrested for vandalizing the grave of 15-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who was stabbed to death in Kadıköy, Istanbul.

MINGUZZI'S GRAVE VANDALIZED

The grave of 15-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, who lost his life in a knife attack in the Kadıköy district of Istanbul, was vandalized on the day of the murder trial, causing damage to the surrounding area. An investigation has been initiated regarding the desecration of the grave in the cemetery. A special team has been formed at the Istanbul Police Department to capture the perpetrators.

67-YEAR-OLD MAN ARRESTED

Teams from the Robbery Bureau of the Public Security Branch of the Istanbul Police Department, with the support of the Istanbul Intelligence Branch, apprehended a suspect named Duran Aydın, 67, who vandalized Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi's grave. Duran Aydın was brought to the Public Security Branch Directorate, where his procedures were completed. After giving his statement, Aydın was referred to the Bakırköy courthouse. Duran Aydın was arrested by the court he was brought before.

"I GOT ANGRY, I HIT AND BROKE"

On the other hand, Duran Aydın, who is reported to be homeless, stated in his testimony at the police station, "I learned about the child's death from the newspapers. I read the daily newspapers I found. Many people were coming and going to the grave. I was curious, so I went to take a look. Then I got caught on the fences around the grave and fell. When I fell, I got angry, I hit and broke things."
