In his initial statement, the funeral worker claimed that he received money under the guise of donations.
Aydın's Söke district, a funeral washer who is alleged to have demanded money from citizens for funeral washing procedures that should be done for free has been arrested.

Numerous reports were made to CIMER regarding L.M., who works as a funeral washer at Söke Fehime Faik Kocagöz State Hospital, alleging that he received money for funeral procedures that should be free. Following the reports, an investigation was initiated by the Söke Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

In the operation carried out by the Söke Smuggling and Organized Crime Prevention Bureau teams, security camera footage and statements from victims and witnesses were examined. Legal action was initiated against the suspect for the crime of "bribery." After the procedures at the police station, L.M. was sent to the courthouse, where he was arrested by the judge.
