A newborn baby boy's body was found in a trash container in Uşak. The 17-year-old mother was hospitalized due to health issues related to the birth, while the young man who is alleged to be the baby's father was also taken into custody.
A male newborn baby body was found in a bag inside a trash container in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood of Uşak. The incident came to light after nearby citizens reported it. Police teams detained two 17-year-olds who are alleged to be the mother and father.
FOUND IN A TRASH BAG
After the report made to the 112 Emergency Call Center, police teams that arrived at the scene encountered the body of a newborn male baby in a bag inside the trash container. Following the work of the crime scene investigation teams, the baby was taken to the morgue of Uşak Training and Research Hospital for an autopsy.
PARENTS IN CUSTODY
As part of the ongoing investigation, it was determined that the baby's mother is S.D. (17). The mother of the baby, who was born out of wedlock, was hospitalized at Uşak Training and Research Hospital due to her health condition. M.A.Y. (17), who is alleged to be the baby's father, was detained by police teams.
In the autopsy performed on the baby, it was determined that the child was born on the day of the incident.
A comprehensive investigation into the incident is ongoing, and officials stated that the investigation is being conducted meticulously.
