The 2.5 million euro prize awarded by FIFA to Turkey was distributed as bonuses by the Turkish Football Federation (TFF). While the players requested that a portion of the bonus be given to the staff, 250,000 euros were allocated to the employees, and 2 million 250 thousand euros were distributed among the players.
After FIFA's reward of 2.5 million euros to national teams, the Turkish Football Federation distributed this amount as bonuses to players and staff.
PAYMENT FROM FIFA DISTRIBUTED AS BONUS
As part of the payment made to national teams, FIFA sent 2.5 million euros to Turkey. The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) decided to distribute this money as bonuses.
PLAYERS MADE A GESTURE
The Ay-Yıldızlı players exhibited a remarkable behavior by not wanting the bonuses allocated for themselves. At the initiative of the team captains, a request was made for this money to be given to the staff at least.
DECISION ON DISTRIBUTION FROM TFF
In response, the TFF distributed a total of 250,000 euros of the 2.5 million euros to the staff and 2 million 250 thousand euros as bonuses to the players. This decision was appreciated both within the federation and in the football community.
