The military force to ensure stability, which is one of the articles of the Gaza Peace Agreement, has been mobilized. Following the agreement between Hamas and Israel, the groundwork for the other articles of the plan has also been established. President Erdoğan stated at the meeting in Egypt that Turkey is open to the possibility of sending troops to this task force upon the proposal of French President Macron.

Steps are being taken quickly for a military force that will ensure stability in the region, as part of the Gaza Peace Agreement. Following the agreement between Hamas and Israel, the groundwork for the other articles of the plan has also been laid. The plan stated that after the parties reach a consensus, a multinational force would operate in the region.

TURKISH MILITARY MAY BE IN GAZA BY THE END OF OCTOBER

The headquarters of the force that will oversee the implementation of the Gaza Peace Agreement will be established within two weeks. It is expected that the headquarters will be set up by U.S. Central Command Commander Admiral Brad Cooper. The Turkish military, which will be part of the stability force, may be in Gaza by the end of October.

THE PROPOSAL CAME FROM MACRON

While these developments are taking place on the ground, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke about the planned international task force to be established in Gaza during the AK Party's Central Executive Committee meeting held the day before yesterday. According to a report in the Türkiye newspaper; Erdoğan stated, "Macron asked, 'Will you send soldiers to the task force?' I replied, 'Why not?' We can be included in the military mechanism to be established in Gaza. What is important here is under what conditions we will be present there."

EVEN IF FRAGILE, A CLIMATE OF TRUST HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN THE REGION

Erdoğan, stating that there is still much work to be done in Gaza, including its reconstruction, said, "A climate of trust has been established in Gaza, albeit fragile. We should not view it as if the problem has been solved. This is not how it should be, but it provides some relief. It is neither anyone's place nor right to belittle this by simply saying 'they signed a ceasefire.' We will stand firmly behind the will expressed in the declaration. Despite all the disruptions, nearly 350 trucks have entered Gaza. More than 400 trucks are waiting to enter. As a country, a nation, and a party, we have a great responsibility, especially towards the world and Islamic countries. We must ensure that the genocide in Gaza is not forgotten. We must work until an independent Palestinian State is established," he expressed.
