Gold prices continue their record streak in the new day. The price of gold per ounce reached its highest level at $4,242, while the price of gold per gram approached the 6,000 TL threshold at 5,707 TL. It has been reported that the physical sale price of gold per gram in the Grand Bazaar has risen to 5,930 TL. Meanwhile, the Australian ANZ Bank has predicted that the price of gold per ounce will reach $4,600 by June 2026.

The rise in gold prices in global markets shows no signs of slowing down. Increasing expectations that the Fed will cut interest rates two more times this year and the political tensions between the US and China have strengthened the demand for safe havens. As a result, the ounce of gold reached $4,242, setting a new historical peak.

GRAM GOLD APPROACHES 6 THOUSAND TL BARRIER

The ounce of gold started the day at $4,208. During the day, the lowest level seen was $4,199, and the highest was $4,242. Currently, it is trading at $4,237.

The gram of gold opened at 5,662 TL. During the day, the lowest level seen was 5,650 TL, and the highest was 5,707 TL. Currently, it is trading at 5,696 TL.

The rise in the ounce price has directly reflected on the gram gold as well. It has been reported that the physical gram selling price in the Grand Bazaar has reached up to 5,930 TL. Thus, it is just one step away from the critical 6,000 TL threshold.
