While a bird-like unmanned aerial vehicle was spotted in the skies of Iran, it was suggested that the vehicle could belong to foreign intelligence, but no official confirmation has been made regarding the incident.
A notable development occurred under the shadow of war in the Middle East. The sighting of a bird-like unmanned aerial vehicle in Iranian skies reignited discussions on security and intelligence.
IMAGES SPREAD QUICKLY
In the images shared on social media, the object, which is assessed to be different from a natural bird in its flight characteristics and movements, was claimed to possibly be a bird-like drone. As the images spread quickly, the wing movements and stable flight capability particularly drew attention.
IRAN IS WORKING ON SIMILAR CAMOUFLAGE TECHNOLOGIES
Some sources suggest that the vehicle in question may belong to foreign intelligence services, while it is noted that countries like Israel have developed biomimetic (animal-mimicking) surveillance technologies in the past. On the other hand, it is known that Iran is also working on similar camouflage technologies.
OFFICIAL STATEMENT EXPECTED
However, no official confirmation has been made by Iranian officials or international sources regarding the incident. Therefore, it remains uncertain whether the images belong to a real intelligence vehicle or if they are a misinterpretation of a different object.
US-ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON IRAN
While negotiations continue between the Tehran and Washington administrations, Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, many high-ranking officials were killed, including Iranian leader Ali Khamenei. According to Iranian officials, the death toll from the US-Israel attacks exceeded 1,348, and the number of injured surpassed 17,000.
