Military activity in Northern Iraq continues following the attack on the residence of the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani. Three airstrikes were carried out against the Iran-backed Hashd al-Shaabi headquarters at Kirkuk Airport. Three people were killed and four others were injured in the attacks.
Three airstrikes were carried out against the headquarters of the Northern and Eastern Tigris Operations Command, located at Kirkuk Airport in northern Iraq and belonging to the Iran-backed Hashd al-Shaabi.
3 PEOPLE DEAD, 4 INJURED
After the attack, the source of which is unknown, thick smoke rose from the headquarters. According to a written statement from Hashd al-Shaabi, 3 people were killed and 4 were injured in the attack. The U.S. military has frequently targeted the Iran-aligned Hashd al-Shaabi in Iraq since the war began on February 28.

Meanwhile, shortly before this attack, a written statement from the Iraqi Prime Minister's Press Office reported that an attack using a drone was carried out on the residence of the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, in Duhok.
IRAQ'S AIRSPACE CLOSED FOR 3 MORE DAYS
Due to the ongoing attacks by the U.S.-Israel against Iran, Iraq has extended the closure of its airspace for 3 more days. A statement from the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority indicated that this decision would be valid until 12:00 PM on Tuesday, March 31. Iraq had announced the closure of its airspace for 24 hours in response to the U.S.-Israel attacks on Iran, which it condemned on February 28. This period has been extended several times since then.
