A United Airlines flight departing from Chicago on Tuesday afternoon landed at Kahului Airport in Hawaii. An inspection of flight UA202 revealed a body in the main landing gear wheel well.

In a statement by United Airlines, it was said, "The wheel well could only be accessed from outside the aircraft. At this time, it is unclear how or when the individual accessed the wheel well." It was noted that the flight was operated with a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, which took off from Chicago at 09:30 and landed in Maui at 14:12 local time.
INVESTIGATION INITIATED
The Maui Police Department has launched an investigation into the incident. The Maui Police Department, which is conducting the investigation, did not disclose any details regarding the identity of the individual or how they entered the aircraft's wheel well.
