Abdulhamid Kayıhan Osmanoğlu, the grandson of Sultan Abdulhamid II, shared a quote on October 29 that is claimed to belong to Necip Fazıl Kısakürek: "There is no other nation in the world that has had its thousand-year history erased and celebrates that day as a holiday." The post quickly became a trending topic, with many users commenting, "If it weren't for Atatürk, our history would have truly been erased."

The great-grandson of II. Abdülhamit, Abdülhamid Kayıhan Osmanoğlu, whose bachelor's degree from the Department of History at İnönü University was revoked as part of a fake diploma investigation, made a striking post on the occasion of the Republic Day on October 29.

Osmanoğlu's post, which shared the quote attributed to Necip Fazıl Kısakürek, "There is no other nation in the world that celebrates the day when its thousand-year history was erased," quickly received numerous comments.
