An Albanian national and British citizen, Mentor Rama, fell ill and was hospitalized after undergoing a hair transplant and dental treatment in Istanbul. Despite all the interventions by doctors, Rama passed away. His body was sent back to his country after the autopsy procedures, while the police launched an investigation into the incident.
Mentor Rama, a British citizen of Albanian nationality, came to Turkey last week for a hair transplant. After having the procedure at a clinic in Fulya, Istanbul, Rama checked into a hotel in Şişli. The next day, he underwent dental treatment at a dental clinic in Ayazağa.
DIED AFTER THE PROCEDURES
When Rama returned to the hotel, he fell ill and was taken to the hospital. Despite all interventions, he could not be saved and passed away on November 11. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
HIS FUNERAL WAS SENT TO HIS COUNTRY
Rama's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution for an autopsy. After the autopsy procedures, the body was handed over to the family and taken back to his country.
