HE HAD GONE FOR A PICNIC WITH HIS FAMILY
The incident occurred around 16:30 in Limonlu Neighborhood. Enes Swed, a Syrian national who had come for a picnic with his family, disappeared after being caught in the current while entering the Lamas Stream to cool off. Relatives reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Following the report, AFAD, fire brigade, and underwater police teams were dispatched to the area.
FOUND TRAPPED IN ROCKS
Search operations were initiated in and around the stream bed by teams arriving at the scene. After approximately 8 hours, Enes Swed's lifeless body was found trapped among the rocks in the stream.
With the efforts of the teams, Enes Swed's lifeless body was recovered from the location, while police launched an investigation into the incident.
