In a shopping mall in the Kızıltepe district of Mardin, the finger of 3-year-old T.B., who got his hand caught in an escalator, was severed. While the child was being transferred to the hospital, the family filed a criminal complaint against the mall management and those responsible.

A 3-year-old boy named T.B. had his finger severed after getting his hand caught in an escalator at a shopping center in the Kızıltepe district of Mardin. The incident occurred yesterday evening at a shopping center in the district. T.B., who was descending the escalator with his family, got his hand caught in the escalator mechanism. 

AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED REGARDING THE INCIDENT

The child's pinky finger on his right hand was severed in the incident. Upon notification, health, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. After the initial intervention, T.B. was transferred to Kızıltepe State Hospital and then to the Dicle University Faculty of Medicine in Diyarbakır. T.B.'s family filed a criminal complaint against the shopping center management and responsible parties.

An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
