A young boy who was a fan of superheroes died after being struck by a towel radiator that fell on him while he was playing like Spider-Man. Saleh Aslam died as a result of a serious head injury caused by a 40-kilogram towel heater that fell on him while he was climbing the wall. During the mid-term break, Saleh, who was at home with his siblings and mother, could not be saved after the radiator that fell from the hook caused a brain hemorrhage. Emergency services were called to the house in Watford, Hertfordshire, at 3:40 PM on October 28, but they could not save little Saleh, and he died the same day. His father, Mohammad Aslam, told BBC Three Counties, "We can't find the words to express our grief." Aslam explained that Saleh's mother, 40-year-old Bibi Khadija, had briefly gone upstairs when the radiator fell. This weekend, the streets of North Watford were filled with mourners for the funeral attended by over 300 people. Mr. Aslam described the tragedy, saying, "He had only gone upstairs for two minutes. While trying to climb, the radiator, which weighs about 40 kilograms, fell from the hook. He suffered a brain hemorrhage as a result of it hitting his head." He is now urging other parents to warn their children that their favorite cartoon characters are not real and that they should not imitate them. The grieving father described his son as "very sensitive, very kind, very humble." Mr. Aslam told the Watford Observer, "I have four children, but he was my favorite, the naughtiest, the cutest." His mother added, "He was a very cheerful and happy child, he would make everyone admire him, he spoke confidently even with strangers, he was a very sweet child. He was my youngest, of course, he holds a special place in my heart, and I will never forget him." Teachers and students from The Orchard Primary School, where Saleh was a student, also attended the funeral. School principal Jonny Spector said, "Saleh was a very loved, charming, and kind child by his friends and school staff, we will miss him very much." Other parents shared similar sentiments. One parent stated, "We received the sad news through the school this afternoon. It is heartbreaking to lose such a sweet child in such a tragic way."
