In the process that began with MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli's message of "Turkey without Terror," a historic milestone was reached today. Thirty terrorists, including PKK executive Bese Hozat, burned their weapons. Footage has also emerged showing the moments when the terrorists emerged from the cave to go to the area where cauldrons with burning fires were located.
A historic day is being experienced in the "Terror-Free Turkey" process that started with the call of MHP General Chairman Devlet Bahçeli. Within the scope of the PKK terrorist organization's weapons surrender ceremony, 30 PKK members, including 4 leaders, burned their weapons. The second group of 30 terrorists is expected to surrender their weapons in the coming days.

250 OBSERVERS ATTENDED THE CEREMONY
A group of terrorists surrendered their weapons under the supervision of a 250-person observer delegation, which included DEM Party Co-Chairs Tuncer Bakırhan and Tülay Hatimoğulları, former Mardin Metropolitan Municipality Co-Chair Ahmet Türk, DEM Party İmralı Committee member Mithat Sancar, Democratic Regions Party Co-Chairs Çiğdem Kılıçgün Uçar and Keskin Bayındır, DEM Party members of parliament, officials from the Kurdistan Patriotic Union (YNK), and members of international delegations. It was learned that the weapons were destroyed.
EXTRAORDINARY SECURITY MEASURES WERE TAKEN
Extraordinary security measures taken by YNK peshmerga forces were observed in the Casene Cave area of Sulaymaniyah, where members of the PKK terrorist organization surrendered their weapons. Peshmerga forces took precautions with armored vehicles on the road leading to the cave, preventing journalists from entering the area. Security measures were also taken in the Casene Caves area with helicopters in the air.
