Citizens, who have been unable to reach the business owner for days, expressed their frustration and claimed that they have millions of lira in receivables.
The jewelry store A.D. Mücevherat, known to the public as the "golden man," has been closed for a while, raising claims of victimization in Kırşehir. Citizens who could not reach the business owner A.D. and his wife D.D. claimed they were defrauded and filed a complaint with the police.
HE MADE A STATEMENT ON SOCIAL MEDIA
After approximately 16 people filed complaints, the business owner A.D. made a statement via social media, saying, "There are allegations against us. We do not owe anyone. We left our workplace with a letter stating that we would meet on Monday; they have written false checks to the bank. Now how will I continue my commercial life?"
THERE ARE EVEN THOSE WHO ARE OWED 3 MILLION
According to allegations, victims stated that they had gold and cash receivables ranging from 1.5 million TL to 3 million TL, and they gathered in front of the business to make a statement, claiming they were defrauded and asking for help. Victims expressed that the jeweler had given them worthless checks, but they could not communicate with him either by phone or face-to-face; they claimed to have given 279 grams of gold in exchange for checks, but the checks turned out to be worthless.
THE NOTICE HE HUNG CAUGHT ATTENTION
Some citizens stated that they participated in the "Bring the Old, Take the New" campaign organized by the jeweler, but they never received the new products, saying, "It has been about a month. We gave 150 grams of gold, and there has been no response. The shop has been closed for 10 days. Only a note saying 'A short break, hope to see you on Monday' is hung on the door. No one can be reached."

Upon complaints, the police went to the jewelry store to conduct a search, lifted the shutters of the business, and prepared a report while searching. As a result of the search, some materials found in the workplace were taken for examination.
