In the message published by the Presidency of Religious Affairs on the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of the Republic, it was stated, "It is our duty to carry our homeland, flag, independence, and sacred values into the future. We commemorate with respect and gratitude all our great leaders, especially the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who have worked to elevate our state from the past to the present."

In the written statement of the Presidency, it was stated, "Today, we are experiencing the joy of reaching the 102nd anniversary of the establishment of our Republic. On this occasion, we congratulate every individual of our esteemed nation, as well as our citizens and compatriots living abroad, on the Republic Day."



"A STRUGGLE FOR INDEPENDENCE RARELY SEEN IN HISTORY"



The statement drew attention to the struggle of the Turkish nation for independence and freedom, stating, "Our esteemed nation has fought a struggle for independence rarely seen in history with its unwavering faith, resilience, and foresight. Inspired by its glorious history, it has broken the chains of captivity by acting in unity and solidarity to protect its freedom, homeland, and sacred values, and has established the Republic of Turkey. The Republic of Turkey, established after an epic struggle written in golden letters in history, is a product of the love for the homeland and the desire for freedom nurtured in the hearts of our nation."



It was noted in the statement that since the establishment of the Republic, efforts have continued with a spirit of solidarity for the survival of the country and the peace of the nation, stating, "It is our duty to carry the homeland, flag, independence, and sacred values entrusted to us by our heroic ancestors, who protected them with great sacrifices, into the future."

The statement concluded with the words, "On this occasion, we remember with respect and gratitude the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and all our great leaders who have worked to elevate our state from the past to the present. HE HAD HUNG A PHOTO IN HIS OFFICE



Shortly after being appointed as the President of Religious Affairs with a decree published by President Erdoğan a few months ago, Prof. Dr. Safi Arpaguş had hung a historical photograph of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk being welcomed with prayers in Uşak on February 18, 1923, in his office shortly after starting his duty.
