The UEFA Disciplinary Committee imposed a fine of 72,500 euros and a suspended stadium closure penalty on Hungary due to the incidents that occurred during the match against Turkey, where the national anthem was whistled.
The Turkish National Football Team received bad news from UEFA regarding their opponent Hungary, whom they faced away on March 23 in the UEFA Nations League.

In the match where our National Team defeated Hungary 3-0, Hungarian fans whistled the National Anthem before the match. The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body imposed a fine of 10,000 euros on the Hungarian Football Federation for the incidents that caused disturbance during the national anthems.
72,500 EURO FINE
In addition to the whistling of the national anthem, a total fine of 72,500 euros and a stadium closure penalty were imposed for other discriminatory actions carried out in the stands, throwing objects onto the field, and setting off fireworks. In the statement made, it was noted that the stadium closure penalty was postponed for a two-year observation period, and that this penalty would be enforced if a similar incident occurred.
