Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that the person who drew the offensive caricature of Prophet Muhammad in Leman magazine has been detained. In the released footage, the individual can be seen being taken to the ground and handcuffed behind their back.

The ugly cartoon published in Leman magazine about Prophet Muhammad has officially caused an uproar. Following the cartoon, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation, and a detention order was issued for four individuals.

INTERIOR MINISTER YERLIKAYA'S STATEMENT ON "LEMAN"

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya stated in his remarks regarding the issue that the person who drew the cartoon has been detained. In his statement, Minister Yerlikaya said: "I once again condemn those who try to sow the seeds of discord by drawing a cartoon of our Prophet (P.B.U.H)."

The individual named D.P., who made this despicable drawing, has been captured and detained. I reiterate: These shameless individuals will face justice before the law."
