The dealership that offered a vehicle with 153,000 kilometers on it for sale while showing it as having 123,000 kilometers had its authorization certificate revoked by the Ministry of Trade. Following a citizen's report on social media, an inspection was conducted, and irregularities were detected, leading to penalties being imposed on the company.

A gallery owner in Istanbul was found to have reduced the mileage of a vehicle from 153,000 kilometers to 123,000 kilometers for sale. Following a tip-off from a citizen on the social media platform X, the teams from the Ministry of Trade took action and conducted an inspection of the relevant company.

CANCELLATION OF DOCUMENT AND PENALTY

During the inspection, it was determined that the vehicle's mileage had been unlawfully reduced and that the company's operating address was being used for residential purposes. Consequently, the business's authorization certificate was revoked, and a report was prepared regarding the company and submitted to the General Directorate of Internal Trade.
