In the town of Kerzers, located in the Fribourg canton of Switzerland, a fire broke out on a postal bus, resulting in the deaths of 6 people and injuries to 5 others. It is reported that the fire started when one person on the bus poured gasoline on themselves and set themselves on fire.
According to a statement made by the Fribourg Cantonal Police, a fire broke out last night in a postal bus providing regional transportation in the center of the town of Kerzers. It was reported that the fire quickly engulfed the entire vehicle, and firefighting and rescue teams intervened, resulting in the bus being completely burned and rendered unusable.
INITIAL FINDINGS INDICATE INTENTIONAL ACTION
It was confirmed that 6 people lost their lives in the incident, and a total of 5 people were injured, 3 of whom are in serious condition. The seriously injured were transported to hospitals by helicopter and ambulances, while the treatments of the other 2 individuals were carried out at the scene.
