A ship that was learned to have experienced a rudder malfunction in the Bosphorus has run aground. Off the coast of Yeniköy, teams were dispatched to rescue the ship that came to a halt meters away from a waterfront mansion.

The 147-meter-long container ship named KAPPA, which was reported to have suffered a rudder malfunction in the Bosphorus, ran aground.

STOPPED METERS AWAY FROM THE MANSION

Rescue teams from the General Directorate of Coastal Safety were dispatched to the area off Sarıyer Yeniköy to save the ship, which stopped meters away from a mansion.
