In the İnegöl district of Bursa, joyful family moments nearly turned into a major disaster due to a moment of carelessness. A 2-year-old child fell onto a barbecue fire lit in the garden and was hospitalized with serious burns on their legs.
In the İnegöl district of Bursa, a 2-year-old child was severely injured after falling into a barbecue fire lit in the garden.
The incident occurred around 15:00 in the garden of a house on Refah Street, Yenice Neighborhood. According to the information obtained, 2-year-old Emral K., who was playing near the fire lit by family members for barbecue in the garden, lost balance due to a momentary distraction and fell onto the flames.
SECOND-DEGREE BURNS ON LEGS
Realizing the situation, the family panic-strickenly pulled the child out of the fire. Without wasting time, Emral K. was placed in a private vehicle and taken to İnegöl State Hospital.
During the initial interventions at the hospital, it was determined that the child had second-degree burns on their legs. The unfortunate child was admitted to the hospital's burn unit for treatment.
Following the incident, security forces took action, and the police investigation into the accident continues.
