A 20-year-old farmer who was being treated for suspected Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever due to a tick bite in Kayseri has passed away. It was learned that the farmer had gotten engaged a week ago and was set to marry after the holiday.
A 30-year-old farmer, Hacı Mehmet Eker, residing in Şıhbarak Neighborhood of Tomarza district in Kayseri, had a tick attach to his body.
DIED AS A RESULT OF TICK BITE
The farmer, who fell ill, was taken to Erciyes University Medical Faculty Hospital. Eker was treated under suspicion of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF). Hacı Mehmet Eker passed away in the hospital where he had been receiving treatment for 5 days.
ENGAGED A WEEK AGO
On the other hand, it was learned that Hacı Mehmet Eker, who got engaged a while ago, would have his wedding after the Eid al-Adha. Eker's funeral was buried after the funeral prayer held in Şıhbarak Neighborhood. Eker's relatives and citizens attended the funeral prayer.
