A 35-year-old female anchor, who gave a statement to the police, claimed that she had a threesome relationship with Mehmet Akif Ersoy and Mustafa Manaz, stating, "We met at the house in Etiler. Manaz, Ersoy, and Ece A. rolled up money and smoked cocaine."

The anchor expressed that Ersoy introduced her to Furkan T. from Ankara, saying, "Ersoy introduced me to his friend Furkan T. from Ankara. One day, he said, 'We were going to a place with Furkan T. and Ayfer B.' However, instead of the venue, we went to the house rented by Akif. We stayed there for a long time with Furkan T. and Ayfer."
HE RESIGNED
It was learned that the person referred to as Furkan T. in the statement is Furkan Torlak, who served as the Coordinator of the Disinformation Combat Center of the Presidency of Communications; following the allegations, Torlak resigned.
Torlak wrote, "I have learned that my name has been mentioned in a news article related to a judicial process in some media outlets and social media platforms today," and added, "Despite there being no accusations against me in the content and context of the disturbing news, the mention of my name is a regrettable situation for me."

Torlak also stated: "The journalist mentioned in the news, Mehmet Akif Ersoy, is a friend I have known since my childhood, as most people are aware. Although there is no accusation against me, I want to emphasize that I have not engaged in any unlawful actions personally.
Furthermore, the mention of the institution I work for in such a news context is absolutely the last thing I would want. The reputation of the state and its institutions is above that of individuals. Therefore, I have made the decision to resign from my position to prevent any damage to the institution I serve."
