Yeni Malatyaspor, competing in the Nesine 2nd League Red Group, did not play in the 15th week match against Kırklarelispor. The yellow-black team has thus failed to take the field for the third consecutive time, guaranteeing their relegation.
In the 15th week match of the Nesine 2nd League Red Group, Kırklarelispor was preparing to host Yeni Malatyaspor at Kırklareli Atatürk Stadium, while the opposing team did not take the field. Due to the match not being played, Kırklarelispor won the match 3-0 by default according to the regulations of the Turkish Football Federation.
RELEGATED FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE TIME BY NOT TAKING THE FIELD
With Yeni Malatyaspor not taking the field, the yellow-black team has now missed three consecutive matches in the league. According to the TFF match regulations, teams that do not take the field for two consecutive matches are automatically relegated, and with Yeni Malatyaspor's absence from matches for three games, their relegation has been confirmed.
CURRENTLY AT THE BOTTOM OF THE LEAGUE
Among the reasons for the opposing team's inability to take the field is the "Football Betting Investigation," which has resulted in many players receiving penalties for deprivation of rights, as reported to the public. Due to this situation, Yeni Malatyaspor struggled to form a squad. Additionally, it was reported that the club received a total penalty of -45 points as a result of lawsuits seen by FIFA due to serious economic problems the club is facing. Having only achieved 2 draws throughout the season, Yeni Malatyaspor is currently at the bottom of the league with -40 points due to point deductions and decisions not to take the field.
