A 50-year-old man who was herding sheep in Erzurum and his 14-year-old son were struck by lightning while grazing animals. Both the father and son lost their lives, and an investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.

A heartbreaking incident occurred in the highland of Sındıran Neighborhood, located in the Şenkaya district of Erzurum. Abdulmenaf Kısak (50), who was herding sheep, and his son Bayram Kısak (14) were struck by lightning while grazing their animals.

FATHER AND SON LOST THEIR LIVES

Those nearby reported the situation to emergency services. Upon notification, gendarmerie and medical teams arrived at the scene and took the bodies of the father and son, who were confirmed dead, to the hospital morgue for autopsy. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
