The statement from the club included the following;

"Galatasaray Sports Club Board Member Fatih Demircan has entered a rehabilitation process following a successful operation performed by Galatasaray Football A Team Doctor Yener İnce due to a fracture in his right arm caused by the traffic accident. We extend our best wishes to Mr. Demircan and hope for his swift recovery."
