Images of the accident in Ankara, which claimed the lives of 5 people, have emerged. The footage shows the private public bus speeding down the road, losing control, crashing into the barrier, and then spinning to hit the support of the overpass. The identities of those who lost their lives in the accident have been revealed.
In the Saray area of Kahramankazan district in Ankara, the driver of a private public bus with license plate 06 HO 1460 lost control of the steering wheel and crashed into the barriers. As a result of the accident, the bus rolled over and was able to stop after hitting a bridge pillar. Upon notification, fire, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Injured passengers trapped in the bus were rescued by the fire department's efforts.
5 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES Medical teams determined that 5 people, including the bus driver, had lost their lives. 15 people who were injured and rescued from the bus were taken to the hospital after the initial intervention by the medical teams. The public bus was removed from the place it was trapped with the help of a crane. The police have launched an investigation into the accident.

The footage captured by the security camera of a business located by the roadside shows the bus speeding down the road, losing control, crashing into the barrier, and then spinning to hit the foot of the overpass.
IDENTITIES HAVE BEEN DETERMINED It has been determined that 4 of the 5 people who lost their lives in the accident were bus driver Efe Erdem, and passengers Mehmet Sucu and his daughter Safiye Simge Sucu, along with Hamiyet Bilge Uslu. Efforts to identify the other female passenger who lost her life are ongoing. It was learned that bus driver Efe Erdem was married and a father of 2 children.
Within the scope of the investigation conducted by 3 public prosecutors regarding the accident, 2 experts are also continuing their examinations.
It was stated that Efe Erdem, the deceased minibus driver (in the middle), was married and a father of 2 children.
