As part of the Gulf tour, President Erdoğan's plane, which traveled to Oman after Kuwait and Qatar, was accompanied by F-16 fighter jets from the Royal Air Force of Oman. Upon Erdoğan's arrival at the Al Alam Palace, a 21-gun salute was fired.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was officially welcomed by Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman in the capital Muscat, where he arrived for official visits.
FIGHTER JETS ESCORTED
F-16 fighter jets belonging to the Royal Oman Air Force escorted President Erdoğan's plane during its landing at the Special Sultanate Airport. As Erdoğan arrived at Al Alam Palace, a mounted military band surrounded his official vehicle, accompanied by royal cavalry.
21 CANNON SHOTS FIRED
During President Erdoğan's entrance to Al Alam Palace, 21 cannon shots were fired. Erdoğan was welcomed by Sultan Haitham bin Tariq as he stepped out of his vehicle. After Erdoğan and Haitham bin Tariq took their places in the ceremony area, the national anthems of both countries were played. Following the introductions of the delegations from both countries, President Erdoğan and Haitham bin Tariq proceeded to discussions.
After the meeting, Erdoğan will attend an official dinner held in his honor.

During the official welcoming ceremony, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Deputy Chairman of the AK Party and Party Spokesperson Ömer Çelik, AK Party Deputy Chairman Halit Yerebakan, AK Party Group Deputy Chair Özlem Zengin, President of the National Intelligence Organization İbrahim Kalın, President of the Presidency Communication Burhanettin Duran, Chief of Staff of the Presidency Hasan Doğan, President of the Presidency Defense Industry Haluk Görgün, and Chief Foreign Policy and Security Advisor to the President Akif Çağatay Kılıç were also present.
