The home of the Palestinian child, who returned to Gaza with his family three months before the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip began on October 7, 2023, was bombed during the ongoing Israeli assaults.
EMOTIONAL EXPRESSIONS
Only 12 years old, Tesnim stated that he wrote a letter to President Erdoğan during the Israeli attacks but kept the letter with him because he did not know how to deliver it.
In his handwritten letter, the Palestinian child Tesnim referred to President Erdoğan as "Dear Grandfather," expressing that he saw President Erdoğan shedding tears for Esma el-Baltacı, who lost her life in Egypt, while browsing the internet, and that those images never left his mind.
In his letter, Tesnim stated, "You have a very good heart; I have known you as a compassionate father to every oppressed Muslim on earth, and since that day, I remember compassionate helpers like you since the day these cursed wars in all of humanity's past began."
"WE HAVE NOT SEEN A BETTER PRESIDENT THAN YOU"
In his letter, the Palestinian child expressed his love for President Erdoğan with the words, "Dear President Erdoğan, who is in everyone's heart, you do not know the extent of your love in my heart and in the hearts of all Palestinians, but rest assured that your love fills the hearts of all people. Because we have not seen a better president than you in defending the truth and the oppressed."
"DEAR GRANDFATHER..."
The Palestinian child, who said, "I sent this message to you, dear grandfather, while you give us hope, encourage us to persevere, and push us towards a better future, my heart is waiting and longing to hear your voice," wished health for President Erdoğan.
Palestinian Tesnim concluded his letter with the words: "I pray that you may be beneficial to Muslims, all the children of Gaza, and all the oppressed."
