The Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the UK, General Rob Magowan, stated that the UK would respond immediately if Russia were to invade Eastern Europe. Magowan said, "If the British Army is asked to fight tonight, we will fight tonight. If the Russians begin their invasion of Eastern Europe tonight, we will confront them in battle."

UK Deputy Chief of the General Staff, General Rob Magowan, stated that they would confront Russia if it invades Eastern Europe, saying, "If the British Army is asked to fight tonight, we will fight tonight."

ANSWERED QUESTIONS IN PARLIAMENT

UK Defense Minister John Healey and General Magowan answered questions from members of the UK Parliament's Defense Committee. Healey noted that two briefings were given to members of the House of Lords and the House of Commons regarding developments in Ukraine, while stating that Russia has deployed nearly 10,000 North Korean soldiers to the front.

DEFENSE BUDGET INCREASED

Emphasizing the importance of raising the defense budget to 2.5% of national income against Russia's nuclear threats, Healey stated that he would answer the question, "Can the UK deploy a division to NATO's eastern flank and maintain its presence?" in a closed session, leaving it unanswered.

"IF WE ARE ASKED TO FIGHT TONIGHT, WE WILL FIGHT"

Responding to the question instead of Healey, General Magowan said, "I can say this, being aware that the Minister has proposed a closed session on this matter; if the British Army is asked to fight tonight, we will fight tonight. If the Russians begin to invade Eastern Europe tonight, we will confront them in battle." In response to this answer, Healey stated, "We are already there, we are in Estonia."
