A horrific murder took place in the town of Glew, Argentina. Bus driver Leonardo Figueroa (43), who worked on line 506, was stabbed to death while at the wheel. Security camera footage shows a passenger wearing a surgical mask boarding the bus and engaging in a brief conversation with the driver before launching an abrupt attack. The assailant stabbed the driver twice in the abdomen before jumping out of the moving bus and fleeing. The police identified the assailant as Jesús Calipsto (57). After the incident, the assailant's wife, who came to the police station, revealed the shocking reason for the murder. The woman confessed that her husband learned about her long-ago relationship with the driver, which led him to commit the murder. The severely injured driver was taken to the hospital, but despite all efforts, he could not be saved. The police arrested Calipsto on charges of "premeditated murder" shortly after he was caught a few streets away from the scene. Authorities confirmed that there was no robbery or other motive in the murder, stating it was entirely a result of jealousy. Eyewitnesses to the incident continue to provide statements.
